The tight-knit community of Evercreech is in mourning following the tragic loss of 25-year-old Natasha Poore in a road collision on the A361 near Frome.

The accident occurred on Monday, 8 April, around 11pm, at the junction with the A362, where Natasha's silver Volkswagen Golf collided with a silver Mercedes C220 AMG.

Natasha died at the scene of the accident.

Her family has expressed profound grief, remembering her as a "beautiful and caring daughter, loving sister, granddaughter, and friend," taken far too soon.

"Her life was cut so short with so many adventures ahead of her," they said. "We will all miss and love her forever."

As the news of the tragedy spreads, the community has rallied to support Natasha's family, who have requested privacy during this challenging time.

Following the incident, a man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, drink driving, and drug driving. He is currently on conditional police bail pending further inquiries.

The police are appealing to anyone who might have dashcam, CCTV or other relevant footage, or any information about the circumstances leading up to the collision, to come forward.

Witnesses can contact the authorities by calling 101 and quoting the reference number 5224089811.
