Event of the Week: Plan your big day at wedding fair being held near Shepton Mallet

As we head into the half-term holidays, a whole host of events are taking place in the Shepton Mallet area.
A number of these events in the Shepton Mallet area are being added to our recently revamped What's On section.
Our top event pick for this week is The Big Southwest Wedding Fair, which is taking place at the Bath and West Showground, near Shepton Mallet.
Be prepared for the ultimate wedding day out, and be inspired for all things wedding from more than 80 talented wedding professionals.
Attendees will receive up to six fancy swag bags, can hear specialists chat all things pretty, and can join the crowds at the twice daily catwalk shows.
The event is taking place on Saturday and Sunday (October 23 and 24) from 10am to 3pm, and for more information, check out the website here.
