This Easter, Shepton Mallet is set to host an egg-citing day of family fun at Collett Park, thanks to the collaborative efforts of Shepton Mallet Town Council and Collett Park Cafe.

Mark your calendars for the 30th March 2024, when from 11 am to 2 pm, the park will become an Easter wonderland.

The event promises a free Easter Egg hunt, where children and families can explore the beautiful surroundings of Collett Park in search of hidden treasures. But the fun doesn't stop there; participants can also show off their creativity in the Easter Bonnet Parade at 1:30pm, with prizes up for grabs for the most imaginative designs.

For a small fee, attendees can indulge in biscuit decorating and face painting, adding a dash of colour and sweetness to the day.

These activities are not only a great way for kids to get creative but also a perfect opportunity for families to spend quality time together.

A huge shoutout to Stonebridge Independent Estate Agents for sponsoring this event, making it possible for the community to enjoy these activities free of charge or at a minimal cost.

So, grab your Easter baskets and bonnets, and head down to Collett Park for a day of festive fun. Whether you're hunting for eggs, decorating biscuits, or getting your face painted, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
