The East Somerset Railway reopened for train rides for the first time since the Covid-19 crisis on July 18.

Visitors were able to see Small Prairie 4555 make its first appearance at the railway at the weekend and the new attraction will also be steaming this weekend, July 25 and 26.

Trains will be running at 11am, 12.30pm, 2pm and 3.30pm at weekends, Wednesdays and Thursdays until the end of August. Weekends and Wednesdays September to end October.

Advance booking for a particular train time is essential to guarantee a seat. Social distancing rules are in place and spaces are limited.

Go to the railway website to book your tickets. The cafe will be open daily and the miniature railway will be open on selected dates.
