Come and learn a new skill, or brush up on an old one, in the beautiful surroundings of the Mendip Hills near Shepton Mallet!

In conjunction with Rural Skills Training Hub, Five Trees Bowlish are proud to offer a FREE Drystone Walling Taster Event over two days on October 8 and 9.

Places are STRICTLY LIMITED - BOOKING IS REQUIRED.

Expert instruction will be on hand all weekend from experienced professional Drystone Wallers to guide you through every stage of stripping down and rebuilding a Drystone wall.

There are refreshments, a covered seating area, hand washing & toilet facilities on hand, as well as ample parking spaces. Our established walling group will also be in attendance to offer mentoring and guidance for beginners.

Chances are, there'll be belly laughs and friendships made along the way, and a celebratory drink at the end!

Participants are invited to attend for 2 days, but, if unable, welcome to drop in and out as available. The event is open to all ages and abilities but under 18s must be accompanied by an adult and participants with restricted mobility should be aware that there is an uneven walking surface in and on the approach to the work area.

Tools, gloves and goggles will be provided but participants must provide their own steel toe capped/steel midsole safety boots.
