Dobbies garden centre in Shepton Mallet is gearing up to make this Christmas truly memorable with an array of festive events for the whole family.

A tour of Santa's Grotto, conducted by an elf, includes a journey through a Christmas tree forest filled with magical characters and the crafting of a special keepsake.

Children will then meet Santa and receive a unique gift. For those who'd like, there's the option to capture the moment with a photograph alongside Father Christmas.

To cater to children with additional needs, a special Santa's Quiet Grotto will be available on 8 December, offering customised sound and visual experiences to minimise anxiety.

But it's not just about the kids; dogs can partake in the Santa Paws Grotto for a festive photoshoot and doggie gifts.

For the young ones, Santa's Breakfast offers an assortment of breakfast options, craft activities, festive games, and a present from Santa himself.

Fancy an elegant outing? Dobbies' Festive Afternoon Tea features a three-tier platter of seasonal delights, including finger sandwiches and scones topped with Cornish clotted cream. Guests can upgrade to include prawn marie rose vol-au-vents, special hot drinks and Prosecco.

Dobbies is also hosting a Christmas Shopping Night on 30 November in support of their National Charity Partner, Teenage Cancer Trust, featuring a range of gifts, decorations, and seasonal must-haves.

The Little Seedlings Christmas Party, exclusively for club members aged 4-10, features games, dancing, delicious food, and a special Santa visit. "We can't wait to see the joy these events bring to our customers and their families," said Sarah Murray, who developed this year's festive programme.
