Croscombe Fun Day set to return next month

The Croscombe Fun Day returns this year on July 6 from noon onwards at Croscombe Village Hall and Field on Fayreway.

Every year, Croscombe Fun Day proves to be a fun local family day out. For the kids, the day offers an outdoor skittle alley, bouncy castle, sack races, hook-a-duck, egg and spoon races plus - new this year - circus skills and balloon modelling.

The stalls this year include local farm produce, arts and crafts, flowers, animal rescue, cakes and much more.

To keep the crowd refreshed, the George Inn will be running a bar and the barbecue will be fired up all afternoon. The soundtrack to the day will be provided by a number of local live bands.

If you need a break from the sunshine, inside the village hall you will find tea and cakes as well as an exhibition looking at Croscombe and Dinder's Amateur Dramatics Group - Frolics - and its fascinating history.
