Collett Park in Shepton Mallet has reopened following an incident this morning (January 25).

Avon and Somerset Police closed off the park at all the entrances early this morning, and this meant the Shepton Parkrun was cancelled.

At the time of publishing the reason behind the closure has not been confirmed by the emergency services, though it is believed that someone was taken hospital.
