The Bath & West Showground is promising a Christmas season "like no other" this year, with a packed programme of events running through December.

Festivities start on Thursday 5 December with Bad Christmas – the Best Worst Christmas Party. Hosted by Auntie Claus, the interactive dining show promises comedy, music and "Christmas carnage" alongside a two-course meal. Organisers say the evening will feature wild performances, audience participation and "enough mischief to make Santa blush".

Sports fans will have their turn on Friday 12 December with the Christmas Punch Party. Former boxing world champion and I'm a Celebrity contestant Tony Bellew will take to the stage for a night of stories from his career in the ring and on screen, followed by a live performance from The Review. Guests will receive a glass of fizz on arrival, with opportunities for audience questions and photos.

Saturday 13 December will see A Great British Christmas, a live show celebrating seasonal favourites with a cast of dancers, vocalists, speciality acts and musicians. The night includes a festive two-course meal, a glass of fizz and a line-up of Christmas hits.

The Bath & West team say group discounts are available for bookings of more than 10 people, but tickets are selling fast.
