Date: 20.06.2018Time: 21:56Location: Ham Lane East, Shepton MalletTwo Fire Engines from Shepton Mallet and a Water Carrier from Bridgwater were sent to a reported barn fire.On arrival crews confirmed this was a large commercial barn with some hay bales on fire. Crews extinguished the fire using 2 Hose reel jets, a thermal image camera, 1 thatching lance and a telehandler from the farm. The fire was accidental and there were 25 hay bales destroyed by fire.
