The A361 through Shepton Mallet is scheduled to close for three days next month for resurfacing work.

The road will be closed from the Charlton Crossroads in the direction of the centre of town along Charlton Road for 620 metres to the junction with Frithfield Lane and Frithfield Walk from August 27 to 29.

It will be shut from 7.30am to 5.30pm, and is to enable Somerset Highways to resurface the carriageway.
