Police are looking for witnesses after 19 beef cattle were stolen from the West Compton, on the outskirts of Shepton.

The incident occurred between 9th December at 8:00 p.m. and 10th December at 10:00 a.m.

The stolen cattle represented a mix of breeds, including Herefords, Angus, as well as black, black and white, red and white, and some with distinctive mixed spotted patterns.

The loss of these cattle poses a financial burden on their owners and affects the livelihood of those involved in the cattle industry.

Police are actively investigating the theft and is seeking the cooperation of the community.

Authorities are urging anyone with information related to this incident to come forward promptly.
