As winter draws in and with Christmas around the corner, we are getting very excited for what's to come in the New Year!

We're Autonomy Care Group and we are delighted to announce the planned opening of our newest adult residential and respite home, Weavers Lodge. Following extensive renovation works, our new service situated in Castle Cary, Somerset, plans to open its doors to residents in early summer 2024.

The home is nestled on the edge of rolling countryside, conveniently situated in a quiet, no-through road yet only a minute walk to the bustling High Street with all its local amenities.

Formerly known as The Hollies on Florida Street, the home is currently undergoing renovation works to turn the current building into a modern, fit-for-purpose six six-bed residential service with two adjoining bedrooms for short-term placements for assessments and transitional support. Both services will care for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

We now have an award-winning interior design company onboard to ensure the home will meet the highest standards to meet the needs of the people we support while still preserving some of the historical features of the building.

This is a really big step forward for our company and we look forward to becoming an integral part of the community, bringing some fantastic career opportunities to Castle Cary and the surrounding towns and villages.
