The Royal Air Forces Association Mid-Somerset Branch Battle Of Britain Service

The Service will commemorate the 84th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain and the activity, personnel and service of the RAF during WW2 and subsequent conflicts.

The Vice Lord-Lieutenant and the High Sheriff of Somerset plus the Mayors or Glastonbury and Wells will attend. Cadets from local RAF Air Cadet Squadrons will represent the RAF of today and tomorrow while the Service will be followed by "An Act of Remembrance" and a Wreath Laying Ceremony by the local dignitaries, RAFA-MSB and Air Cadets.

The event will conclude with refreshments in the church. RAFA-MSB covers BS25, BS26, BS27, BS28, BA4, BA5, BA16, TA10 & TA11 postal areas and members of the public from these areas are welcome to attend this Service.
