With 400 years of history, Shepton Mallet Prison has seen more than its fair share of turmoil and conflict. With links to all key conflicts since the English Civil War, Prisoners of War takes you on a journey through lesser known Shepton Mallet Prison territory, opening up, perhaps for the first time a wealth of archives between the years 1914 and 1920. Join Shepton Mallet Prison historian Dave J. Cable as he guides you through accounts, research and key events during the Great War years.
Doors open at 7.00pm, talk starts promptly at 7.30pm
