Come and make gorgeous fresh flower crowns this May Day as part of our Evercreech Jack in the Green 2022 event!

Join us at the studio for a relaxing and fun workshop where you will be taught how to make a series of beautiful posies from a wide range of seasonal flowers and foliage in order to construct a fresh flower crown complete with flowers, greenery and ribbons fit for any follower of Evercreech Jack in the Green... the perfect way to celebrate the coming of summer!

All tuition, tools, materials and delicious cake and tea are provided as part of your workshop package. After the workshop wear your gorgeous flower crown for our Evercreech Jack in the Green procession through the village and summon the spirit of summer with us at the Bullzini Family Circus Field followed by a community picnic. Everyone is welcome!

10AM - FREE Flower Crown Workshops at The Old Stores Studio

11.30AM - Morris Dancing & Musicians at The Old Stores Studio

12PM - Jack in the Green awakens: Procession from The Old Stores Studio through Evercreech village featuring a flock of willow 'Starlings', music and dancing

1PM - Procession arrives at the Bullzini Circus Yard. Spirit of Summer Celebration: Evercreech Jack is slayed and the Spirit of Summer is released. Community picnic.

Evercreech Jack in the Green is a nonprofit contemporary folk event produced by The Old Stores Studio CIC.

This year we are raising money for Evercreech Primary School Library and @chooselove for their work with refugees.
