Riding down Society house restricted Byway

In the past few weeks some lovely person has given the restricted byway Ridge Road to Society House the most fabulous cut back of surface growth, side growth and hedges.

I am a local horse rider and regularly ride along this track as it is one of the few places to ride off road in safety.

I have lived and ridden in the area since 1997 and while the track has been cut back during those years, it has never been cut back properly so in the summer months, brambles and blackthorn hang over the track to catch and rip the clothing of riders! So I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge "thank you" to whoever you are for doing such a fabulous job. It is so appreciated.
