It's the season for proms and weddings and parties.
But buying dresses for such occasions can take its toll on the bank balance, and at a time when the cost of living is soaring it can be hard to justify spending a lot of cash on an outfit that may only very rarely get an outing.
The Sue Ryder shop in Shepton Mallet might have the answer, however. On Thursday, June 3 they are a holding a "Dream Dress Day" with all long gowns and party wear reduced, and live mannequins modelling the frocks.
