It's been a wet and windy week, but that's no excuse not to get out of the house - as always, there are loads of events taking place in and around Shepton Mallet to keep you busy. Here's our pick of events in and around Shepton Mallet this weekend - and information you'll need about the town's Rememberance ceremonies.

Remembrance Day
Antiques, Vintage & Collectors Fair
Fri - Sun Fair Market, 11-13 Nov 2022
The antique fair is housed in three halls, with over 30 shopping booths at the Royal Bath & West Showground. It features up to 600 stands, with everything from paintings and antique furniture to vintage teddies, restoration products and luxury leather luggage. Those looking for some interior inspiration can indulge in unique antique and vintage lighting (such as lighting used from vintage glass lens from a theatre lamp!).
There have thousands of antique silver pieces for silver collectors, including silver inkwells from silver makers such as Walker & Hall Sheffield, Arthur Fenwick and can even find some special pieces from the most famous silver makers' Paul Storr, Hester Bateman, and Paul de Lamerie.
Ghost Tours
Shepton Mallet Prison, 11-13 November
Shepton Mallet Prison is the most haunted jail in the world... come and investigate to see what lurks behind the high prison walls in the dead of night.
Ghost Hunting, or Paranormal Investigations as they are more commonly known, are running most weekends - including this one - this winter. Professional external organisations and paranormal groups operate them. Find out more here.
Block Printing Course
Ditcheat Hill Farm, 12-13 November.
There are just two places left on this popular course at Ditcheat, so you'd better book quickly. This weekend course will teach you about the process of using 'mordant' block printing to create beautiful and original designs on fabrics. Find out more here.
Wishbone Ash – 'ARGUS' 50th anniversary show
Cheese and Grain, Frome, 12th November
To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of their groundbreaking album topping ARGUS LP, Wishbone Ash will be performing the entire album live on their European Tour
This will be their 22nd show on the Cheese and Grain stage, more shows than any other name band. If you've never seen them here's your chance!
