1. Shepton Mallet Fireworks Display 2021

Rotary Club of Shepton Mallet are again holding Shepton Mallet's Fireworks Display.

It will be held on Saturday 6th November at West Shepton Playing Fields. Bonfire at 7pm followed by the fireworks.

Disabled car parking available on-site. Follow car parking signs for general car park.

2. AFK at the Charlton Inn

A Frayed Knot (AFK) will be performing at the Charlton Inn, Shepton Mallet, on Saturday November 6.

AFK will take you on their own unique journey through five decades of rock music.

They play pubs, clubs, parties, corporate events and festivals with a quality and professional sound, and the music that they play is a carefully chosen mix of rockclassic rock songs (with the occasional pop or blues song thrown in for good measure) dating from the 70s through to the present day to suit most age groups, with plenty for the guitar fans.

3. VMCC Motorcycle Autojumble

The Somerset section of the nationwide Vintage & Classic Motorcycle Club (VMCC) has been holding it's bi-annual motorcycle autojumble at the Bath and West Showground, near Shepton Mallet, since 1983.

The autojumble encompasses three large indoor halls (Showering Pavilion, Mendip Hall and Edmund Rack) plus the additional outdoor space, with approximately 500 stalls.

This event attracts a variety of stallholders, from established companies through to garage clear-outs selling motorcycles, parts, spares, clothing, tools, and all manner of accessories both new and pre-loved.
