A second appliance from Shepton Mallet was mobilised when further calls suggested the fire was spreading to the garage.On arrival crews confirmed the vehicle well alight, and got to work putting the fire out using breathing apparatus, compressed air foam and a thermal imaging camera. A gas cylinder was removed from the garage as a precaution, but the fire was bought under control and prevented from spreading. The Shepton Mallet crew were not required and returned.The car sustained moderate damage, and the cause was confirmed accidental ignition.
