Date: 12.02.2019Time: 13:58Location: Thickthorn Lane, ChilcomptonThe Fire Service were called to a report of a car on fire at the above location.  One fire engine from Shepton Mallet was mobilised to this incident.  On arrival crews confirmed the vehicle was well alight and got to work preparing to extinguish.One car 50% destroyed by fire and smoke.  Extinguished using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet.  The cause is believed to be an electrical fault.
