Fusion Lifestyle will be celebrating the end of the season at Shepton Mallet Lido with Dog Swimming Sessions on Sunday (September 5).

In the last lido session of the summer, dogs will be welcomed for one-and-a-half hour swimming sessions throughout the day at 10.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm and 4.30pm.

Throughout the day dogs and their owners will swim together at a cost of £10 per dog with no additional charge for the adult owner accompanying them.

Joe Pullen, manager at Shepton Mallet Lido, said: "We are a nation of dog lovers and we know people love to swim with their four-legged friends when they get the opportunity.

"The last day of the season is a great chance to make this happen and we can't wait to welcome some regular and not so regular furry friends."

There are some rules in place around the swim. It's open to good dogs only, dogs need to be brushed before they arrive and there is a strict one dog to one human adult over 16 ratio.
