A popular takeaway known for its top-notch homemade grub has shut shop just three months after opening.

K&M Burgers and Pizzas Ltd fired up its ovens at the tail end of January, dishing out food from The King William pub in Shepton Mallet.

But despite rave reviews from satisfied customers, the business has sadly called it quits.

Taking to Facebook, a K&M Burgers and Pizzas spokesperson wrote: "It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of our beloved business.

"To all our incredible customers who've been with us since day one, we sincerely apologise for this sad news.

"We want to express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support. It's been an amazing journey serving you all.

"As we bid farewell, we wish each and every one of you the very best. Thank you for being a part of the K&M family."
