It's one of Shepton's biggest weekends as the Royal Bath and West Show rolls into town from Thursday, 30 May to Saturday, 1 June at the home of our sponsors, the Bath & West Showground. If you're looking for a fun-filled weekend, this is the place to be!
Thrills in the Main Ring
Start your day with the adrenaline-pumping Jamie Squibb Freestyle show, where Jamie and his team will leave you gasping with their breathtaking motorbike stunts. The Pony Club Games are perfect for young horse enthusiasts, offering fast-paced action every day. And don't miss the Livestock Grand Parade on Friday and Saturday afternoons, where the finest animals strut their stuff in style.
For those who adore dogs, the Pawsability Dog Agility demos will have you cheering as skilled pups navigate obstacle courses with ease. The heavy horses will awe you with their sheer power and grace, while the Vintage Vehicle Parade brings a touch of nostalgia with classic cars every afternoon. Show jumping fans can look forward to daily equestrian competitions that are sure to impress.
Relax on the Main Lawn
The Main Lawn is where you can kick back and enjoy the vibe. Lay out your blanket, soak up the sun, and enjoy a mix of activities and live music from talented local artists. Whether you prefer to chill or dance, the Main Lawn is the perfect spot for a laid-back afternoon.
Culinary Delights at the Great British Kitchen
Foodies, prepare to be dazzled at the Great British Kitchen! Celebrity chefs will take to the stage with live cooking demos. On Thursday, Rachel Khoo will wow you with her joyful and indulgent dishes. Friday brings Clodagh McKenna, who will share her sustainable cooking secrets. On Saturday, Rosemary Shrager will showcase her culinary expertise, and Andy Clarke will mix up delicious summer cocktails daily. With Lisa Cadd as the compere, expect lots of handy cooking tips and recipes throughout the event.

Garden enthusiasts will be delighted by the Horticultural Village. David Domoney will discuss the mental and physical benefits of gardening, while Jess Gough shares tips on increasing garden biodiversity. Lara Honnor will educate kids about gardening, and Dr. Neal Ward will provide insights into natural pest control. The Pop-Up Gardens Competition showcases sensory, sustainable, and educational garden creations.
Animal Magic
Animal lovers, rejoice! There are plenty of opportunities to see your favourite animals. Livestock classes in the Sheep Ring, Cattle Ring, and Pig Ring are sure to impress.
