First up, for the culture vultures among you, the Ammerdown Centre in Radstock is hosting a special day course on Saturday, 22nd June, dedicated to the life and work of John O'Donohue. Titled "A Day of Blessings," the course will focus on what John called the 'lost art of blessing'. Expect a day filled with reading, sharing, writing, music, and ritual. On Saturday, 22nd June, Wells Cathedral will host "The Armed Man - Come & Sing with Sir Karl Jenkins." This annual event invites singers from Somerset and beyond to join in a day of rehearsing and performing excerpts from "The Armed Man," under the direction of Alexander Hamilton.
