Truckfest South West Returns to Shepton Mallet: A Must-See Event for Truck Enthusiasts

Truck enthusiasts in Shepton Mallet are in for a treat as Truckfest South West is set to make its highly anticipated return to the Bath & West Showground this summer. Scheduled for 31st August to 1st September 2024, the event promises an exciting mix of entertainment and displays for the entire family.

A Premier Event Since 1983

Since its inception in 1983, Truckfest has become a leading event across the UK, offering an unparalleled family experience. This year, attendees can look forward to a range of attractions, including Monster Trucks, Arena Stunt Shows, meet-and-greets with celebrities and children's characters, thrilling rides, and an impressive display of extraordinary trucks.

Event Highlights

  • Monster Truck Car Crushing Action: Experience the power of the mighty Swamp Thing and Slingshot as they crush cars with ease.
  • Broke FMX Show: Watch the UK's top-ranked freestyle motocross riders perform jaw-dropping tricks usually reserved for TV.
  • Slingshot Ride Truck: Feel the adrenaline rush by taking a ride on the Slingshot Ride Truck and immerse yourself in the excitement.

Diverse Truck Displays

Truckfest South West will feature an extensive range of trucks, from American rigs and customised vehicles to emergency and vintage trucks. Adding to the event's allure is the appearance of 'Ice Road Trucker' Todd Dewey, bringing a touch of celebrity glamour to Shepton Mallet.

Ticket Information

For the best prices, advance ticket purchases are recommended. Ticket prices are as follows:

  • Adult: £18
  • Child (5-15 Years): £10
  • Family (2 Adults & 2 Children): £46
  • Day Tickets: £25 for adults, £15 for children, £65 for a family pass.

Camping options are also available, and visitors are encouraged to check the Truckfest website for full details and to reserve a pitch.

Event Schedule

  • Saturday: Open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with last admission at 3 p.m.
  • Sunday: Open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with last admission at 2:30 p.m.

Free on-site parking is available for visitors, with limited disabled parking spaces allocated.
