Health and social care employers in Somerset are being called to take action on the growing workforce crisis by joining a key roundtable discussion at Strode College in Street later this month.

Hosted in partnership with Somerset Chamber of Commerce, the event will bring together industry leaders, education providers, and senior professionals to address the critical skills shortages affecting the sector.

With demand for health and social care workers rising, the discussion will focus on practical solutions to bridge the skills gap and ensure future employees receive the right training.

The roundtable will take place on Wednesday, 26 February, from 10am to 12pm, offering employers a platform to shape the future of workforce development and influence the training provided by local education providers.

Places are strictly limited, and employers at a managerial level are encouraged to register now before the deadline of 4pm on Friday, 21 February. For more details, contact [email protected].
