Skate Jam is back for 2024, offering a day of workshops, demonstrations, and competitions at West Shepton Skate Park on Saturday, (14th September).

The event, which runs from 10am to 4pm, promises fun for all ages and abilities, whether you're into skateboarding, scootering, or BMXing.

Professionals will be on hand throughout the day to provide coaching, helping participants of all skill levels to improve their techniques.

The day kicks off with beginner lessons from 10am to 11am, perfect for very young or complete beginners looking to get started. From 11am to midday, more experienced skaters and scooter riders can join lessons and watch demonstrations.

The afternoon will see the start of the competitions, running from 12:30pm to 4pm. There will be categories for both under 13s and over 13s across scooters, skateboards, and BMX, with prizes up for grabs for the top performers.

West Shepton Skate Park will host this action-packed event, and everyone is welcome to come along, whether to participate or just enjoy the atmosphere.
