Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed that six people were arrested at the NASS Festival, which was held earlier this month at the Bath and West Showground, near Shepton Mallet.

Of those six arrests, five were for drug-related offences with the other being for drink-driving.

The event attracted 30,000 people to the showground, and featured headline acts such as Cypress Hill and Rudimental, along with a host of extreme sports.

However, around the site, the festival was plagued by problems, including major traffic delays on the Thursday at the start of the event, and anti-social behaviour by some attendees, which forced the neighbouring Mendip School to close for the safety of its students.
