If you are finding it hard to get to motivated for your New Year's resolution maybe you need to talk to Stuart Beck.

Stuart who works as an iFacility warehouse operative near Shepton took a very challenging situation and turned it into something positive.

When December started to approach, Stuart realised he needed to do something to protect his mental and physical health. Sadly, his mum passed away in December 2007, so he finds this time of year difficult. However, since Stuart discovered cycling and running, his mental and physical health has significantly improved. So he decided to set himself a challenge that would keep him busy and raise funds for a good cause.

He decided to do The Motivator Challenge, which involves running or cycling 300 kilometres between the 1st and 24th December.

Stuart, who lives in Writhlington, chose to raise funds for the MS Society, a leading charity that funds vital MS research and provides award-winning care. Stuart's sister is one of more than 130,000 people in the UK who have MS.

Stuart is very passionate about maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle and loves to encourage others to look after themselves and their mental health.

Stuart completed The Motivator Challenge on Christmas Eve, raising over £1000 for the MS Society. There is still time to donate - you can just click HERE: the Just Giving site

iFacility is based at Quarry Way Business Park, at Waterlip, between Shepton Mallet and Frome.
