Temporary traffic lights will again return to the A371 Cannard's Grave Road, in Shepton Mallet, this week for another different set of roadworks.

The lights will be in place outside of the Shireways development from Monday March 9 to Thursday March 12.

They are being used so Wales and West Utilities can lay more than 100 metres of new service.

Other roadworks in Shepton Mallet this week include:

From Monday to Wednesday March 11, Bristol Water will be replacing lead in Whitstone Rise, and, at the same time, the firm will also be fixing a leak in Meadow Rise.

From Wednesday to March 16, Wales and West Utilities will be laying a new service in Churchill Road.
