Shepton Mallet roadworks for week commencing March 2

Temporary traffic lights are set to return to the A371 Cannard's Grave Road in Shepton Mallet this week.

From Monday March 2 to Friday March 6, there will be temporary lights near to the entrance to the doctors' surgery and Mendip District Council.

They will be in place to enable Bristol Water to connect the new main it was working on previously, to the existing network.

Other roadworks in Shepton Mallet this week include:

On Monday and Tuesday March 3, the junction of St Peter's Road and Coombe Lane will be closed between 7.30am and 5.30pm for resurfacing work.

From Monday to Wednesday March 4, there will be temporary traffic lights on the B3136 Waterloo Road to enable Bristol Water to repair a leak.

From Tuesday to Thursday March 5, Bristol Water will be installing talbot boxes and meters in Hawthorn Crescent, Whitstone Close, Yeomanry Way and Somerset Close.

Finally, between Wednesday and Friday, a streetlight will be replaced in Weavers Close.
