Shepton Mallet roadworks for week commencing June 29

Temporary traffic lights are scheduled to be in place on the A361 Charlton Road in Shepton Mallet this week.

The multi-way lights are set to be used at the junction of Charlton Road and the Crown Trading Estate from Wednesday (July 1) to Friday (July 3).

The lights are due to be used to allow Somerset Highways to replace a street lighting unit.

Within the same dates, similar work is also scheduled to be undertaken in Whitstone Rise.

Other roadworks scheduled to take place in Shepton Mallet this week include:

The emergency road closure of Coombe Lane to allow Wales and West Utilities to repair a gas leak, should be lifted by Tuesday (June 30).

Western Power Distribution to scheduled to be undertaking works in Compton Road on Monday (June 29).
