Shepton Mallet roadworks for week commencing June 22

The B3136 Bath Road, in Shepton Mallet, is set to be closed next week to enable a structural examination to take place of the viaduct.

The road is scheduled to be closed on Tuesday (June 23) between 8am and 5pm from the junction with Cowl Street to the junction with Windsor Hill Lane.

Centurion Site Services will be carrying out the structural bridge examination works, and a diversion via the A37 will be signposted.

Other roadworks in Shepton Mallet next week include:

From Tuesday to Thursday (June 25) Bristol Water is scheduled to be carrying out works in Finch Close.

A month-long permit for scaffolding is due to start at the Springfield property in Frog Lane on Tuesday.

The work by Wales and West Utilities to lay a new service in Peter Street is set to be completed by Monday (June 22).

Finally, Bristol Water's work to connect a new supply outside of the Kings Arms in Garston Street is scheduled to be finished by Tuesday.
