Shepton Mallet roadworks for week commencing February 3

There will be temporary traffic lights on the A371 in Shepton Mallet next week.

The lights will be in place outside of the entrance to the Anglo Trading Estate from Friday February 7 to February 11, to enable streetlights to be replaced.

Similar works will mean there will also be temporary traffic lights on the A361 Fosse Lane from Monday February 3 to February 14.

Other roadworks in Shepton Mallet next week include:

There will be temporary traffic lights on the A37 at Downside on Thursday February 6 so Western Power Distribution can install a new supply.

Cats Ash will be closed from Monday to Friday to enable Crestmoor Construction to carry out masonry repair work.

The multi-way temporary traffic lights at the roundabout where Westfield meets the B3136 for works on the roundabout, are due to remain in place until February 12.

The temporary traffic lights on the A371 Cannard's Grave Road for Bristol Water to install a new main are scheduled to stay in place until February 17.

From Monday to Friday, Western Power Distribution will be working on a pole in Southfield Road.

From Tuesday February 4 to Thursday, Bristol Water will be repairing a leak in Beech Avenue.

On Tuesday and Wednesday February 5, Western Power Distribution will be making repairs in Finch Close.

From Thursday to February 10, BT will be putting in a new pole in Coombe Lane.

Finally, the Wales and West Utilities work to fix a gas leak in Coombe Lane should be completed by the end of Thursday.
