Shepton Mallet roadworks for week commencing August 24

Great Ostry in Shepton Mallet is scheduled to be closed for roadworks this week.

The road is due to be closed from Monday (August 24) to Wednesday (August 26) to enable Somerset Highways to undertake patching works.

Other roadworks scheduled to take place in Shepton Mallet this week include:

Multi-way temporary traffic lights at the junction of Whitstone Road and Whitstone Rise, in use while Wales and West Utilities upgrade a gas main, are scheduled to remain in place until September 14.

Bristol Water's work to install a new supply on Bolters Lane is scheduled to be completed on Monday.

Finally, the month-long permit for scaffolding at The Cottage in Ham Lane is due to run out on Wednesday.
