Shepton Mallet launches Christmas card competition with the chance to switch on tree lights

Shepton Mallet Town Council is calling all budding artists to participate in a festive Christmas card competition.

The winning design will not only grace this year's official Christmas cards but the artist will also get the prestigious opportunity to switch on the Christmas tree lights.

Open to all ages, participants are encouraged to use the provided template for their card designs. The contest aims to foster community spirit and spread holiday cheer in Shepton Mallet.

Entries must be sent by Thursday, 23rd November 2023, to Shepton Mallet Town Council's office at 1 Park Road, Shepton Mallet, BA4 5BS. For those who prefer digital submission, entries can also be emailed to [email protected].

This initiative offers residents a unique way to engage with the local community and showcase their artistic flair. So pick up those pencils, paints, or whatever medium suits your fancy, and get crafting your entry for a chance to become a part of Shepton Mallet's Christmas festivities.
