Shepton Mallet area roadworks for week commencing July 13

Temporary traffic lights are scheduled to be in place on the main road through Waterlip next week.

The lights are due to be used from Tuesday (July 14) to July 20 from the junction with Ball Lane to Long Cross.

They are set to be in place to enable Western Power Distribution to install a new supply and substation.

Other roadworks in the Shepton Mallet area next week include:

On Monday (July 13) and Tuesday, Somerset Highways are due to be replacing a streetlight adjacent to a bus shelter on the A361 in Cranmore.

On Tuesday and Wednesday (July 15), Somerset Highways are scheduled to be realigning signposts in Downside, at the junction of the A37 and B3136.

Finally, Bristol Water's work to repair a leak in Westfield is set to be completed by the end of Monday.
