Shepton Mallet area roadworks for week commencing December 7

Temporary traffic lights are planned on the A371 through Croscombe this week for roadworks.

The lights are scheduled to be used from Monday (December 7) to Friday (December 11) in Long Street, close to the school.

They are set to be in place to enable a stone wall alongside the A371 to be rebuilt.

Other roadworks in the Shepton Mallet area that are due to take place this week include:

The temporary traffic lights in Stoke Hill, Stoke St Michael, for Bristol Water to repair a leak are scheduled to be in place until Monday.

Also in Stoke St Michael, Wales and West Utilities are set to be laying a new service in Long Cross Bottom from Thursday (December 10) to December 15.

From Monday to Wednesday (December 9), Bristol Water is due to be undertaking works in Town Street, Shepton Mallet.

Finally, the kerbing and surfacing works by Somerset Highways in Cannard's Grave Road, Shepton Mallet, are scheduled to be completed on Friday.
