Police appeal for witnesses following follision on A361 near Shepton Mallet

The police are now conducting an investigation into the circumstances of the collision and are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any relevant information, to come forward.

Following a road traffic collision on the A361 between Nunney and Shepton Mallet, police are appealing for witnesses.

The incident, which took place at approximately 5.30 pm on Wednesday, 29th November, involved a van and a car, leading to two individuals being taken to hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, where they discovered one person trapped in the car.

The police are now conducting an investigation into the circumstances of the collision and are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any relevant information, to come forward by calling 101.
