Police appeal after woman killed in Evercreech collision

By Laura Linham   4th Jan 2023

Police have confirmed that this morning's collision in Evercreech resulted in the death of a woman in her 20s.

Now they are appealing for witnesses to the crash, and dashcam footage that could help them investigate the circumstances surrounding the woman's death.

Officers were called to the A371 at Arthurs Bridge between The Natterjack Inn and The Pecking Mill Inn shortly before 8am.

Sadly, a woman in her 20s was pronounced dead at the scene. The road was closed while investigations were carried out, but it has since reopened.

A police spokesperson said: Our thoughts are with her family at this time, who are being supported by a specially trained family liaison officer.

"We are now appealing for witnesses who may have been in the area, or anyone with relevant footage, to contact 101 and quote reference 5223001826."

If you can help, please call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5223001826, or complete the online appeals form.
