Plans submitted for conversion of Duke of Cumberland in Holcombe into farm shop and micro pub

A planning application has been submitted to Mendip District Council for the conversion of the Duke of Cumberland in Holcombe into a farm shop and micro pub.
The application for the conversion of the free house looking at the change of bar area and seating areas into new farm shop and kitchen layout, new side extension for added seating area and reshuffle of layout for micro pub, plus new first floor configuration to allow external entry and added second accommodation at the Duke Of Cumberland Inn, Edford Hill, Holcombe, has been made by Toby Brett.
In the proposal, it is planned that the current bar and beer cellar area would be converted into the micro pub, while the kitchen, seating area and skittle alley would be changed into the farm shop with additional seating.
The extra accommodation is planned to be a one-bedroom flat or maisonette, listed as being for a key worker.

Temporary planning permission for the installation of a Portakabin building to be used as additional classroom space for a period of three years (SCC/3725/2020) at St Paul's Junior School, 4 Paul Street, Shepton Mallet, is wanted by Mr Christopher Partridge.
