A pub in Evercreech could now be turned into housing. Mendip District Council have approved an application to change the use of The Pickled Inn in Evercreech into a house with ancillary annexe.

Planning applications validated this week include:

Mill Cottage, Mill Lane, Batcombe

Erection of part two-storey, part single-storey extension on site of existing single-storey extension (to be demolished) and replacement of monopitched roof with a dual pitched roof.

Shalamar, Harris Vale, Coleford

Erection of first floor extension.

Church Farm, Church Street, Coleford

Erection of first floor extension and conversion of garage.

Brook House Farm, Compton Lane, West Compton

Change of use of agricultural building to dwellinghouse Class C3 with associated access and parking.

Erection of boundary wall.

Hollycroft, Church Lane, West Pennard

Demolition to existing single storey rear extension replaced with the erection of a new single storey rear extension and associated works.

2 Weavers Close, Shepton Mallet

Small extension to rear of property, single storey and new patio.

Sycamore Farm Stud, Burges Hill, Stoke St Michael

Erection of permanent Rural Workers dwelling.
