Planning application submitted for new homes in Leigh-on-Mendip

A planning application has been submitted to Mendip District Council to build three homes in Leigh-on-Mendip.
The application for outline planning permission with some matters reserved for the building of three dwellings with details of access at Corner Cottage, Quarry Lane, Leigh-on-Mendip, has been submitted by Miss R Cole.
The proposal is to build the three new homes in a paddock attached to Corner Cottage, made up of two semi-detached three-bedroom properties, and one detached four-bedroom house, each with four parking spaces.
Other planning applications in the Shepton Mallet area received this week by Mendip District Council planners include:
Removal of existing garage, erection of two sheds and creation of gravelled parking area at 14 Crane Cottages, Piers Road to Turnpike Lane, Cranmore, has been applied for by Mr Ryan Peacock.
Application for approval of details reserved by conditions 4 (materials), 5 (joinery details), 8 (surafce water drainage system) on planning consent/listed building consent 2018/2142/FUL on land at Little Pennard Lane, East Pennard, has been made by Mr Harry and Georgina Dearden.
Erection of a 3 bed dwellinghouse at 26 Linkmead, Fosse Way, Stratton-on-the-Fosse, is wanted by Mr Scott Stephens.
Retrospective application for erection of a garden outbuilding at Bourne House, Mendip Road, Stoke St Michael, has been made by Mr T Brook.
Proposed internal non illuminated sign (deemed consent) and non illuminated timber hanging sign on pole in the car park at Pilton Parish Hall, St Mary's Lane, Pilton, have been applied for by Mr S Finlay.
Construction of a two storey side extension with garage and associated works at Glenwood, Bakers Lane, Chilcompton, is wanted by Mr Rob Bath.
Proposed 2 storey rear extension, internal alterations, and conversion of existing outbuilding into ancillary annexe accommodation at Beechwood, Bath Road, Oakhill, have been applied for by Mr and Mrs A Brown.
Erection of new livestock building at Grove Shute Farm, Towns End Lane, Leigh-on-Mendip, is wanted by Mr Nicholas Hiscox.

T1 - Thuja - crown lift to 25ft over drive, T2 - Thuja - reduce branches towards roof by 2m/to growth points, T3 - Cypress - remove low limb towards drive, T4 - Laurel - cut back to boundary and top by 2m, T5 - Laurel - remove large front limb towards house and cut back from pavement, T6 - Yew tree - cut back to boundary as over pavement, T7 - Holly tree - cut back to boundary as over pavement, all pines within Tree Preservation Order group to have major deadwood removed at 6 Carlton Court, Princes Road, Shepton Mallet, by Mrs Burman have been approved.
Application to remove condition 6 (Ecology Compliance) of planning approval 2019/1414/FUL at Southview Farm, Bath Road, Downside, Shepton Mallet, by Mr and Mrs Lee and Julie Brooks has been approved.
T4 - Ash - Reduce overall by 40 per cent - Tree Preservation Order M1187 at Ashbourn, Carters Way, Chilcompton, by Mr Giles Harrod has been approved.
Alterations to existing listed wall at Cherry Tree Cottage, Frys Lane to Mill Lane, Batcombe, by Mrs Jessica Diamond have been approved.
Proposed home office and gym at Hillside Cottage, Portway Hill, Lamyatt, by Mr Ernest Candy has been approved.
Erection of an agricultural building for storing fodder and machinery at Scarlet Withies, Worminster Lane, North Wootton, by Mr and Mrs P and S Uphill has been approved.
Application for approval of details reserved by conditions 4 (Disposal of Surface Water), on planning consent 2019/2786/FUL at Brookfield Farm, Leighton Lane, Evercreech, by Brookfield Livestock Marketing Ltd has been approved.
