A new online hub has been launched for creative types in Shepton Mallet.

Smart CIC has created SMart - a creative hub for artists, arts and culture practitioners, organisers and facilitators living and working in Shepton Mallet.

They say, "We want to encourage people involved in the arts and culture to meet, collaborate, mentor and share best practice. Our ambition is to create an environment where cultural activity can thrive. We aim to make Shepton Mallet a recognised centre of excellence for the arts."

The hub includes a directory where people can add information about their work and their contact details, a what's on section, and details about SMart Socials – networking events for those in creative sectors.
