Mrs Christmas is coming to town – and she’s bringing a silent disco to the streets

Frome's getting a festive glow-up this December — thanks to a disco-dancing, gossip-spilling Mrs Christmas on a mission to turn the town into her very own dancefloor.
Backed by cult comedy crew Rare Species Theatre Company, the "Mrs C's Cracking Christmas Silent Disco Walking Tour" promises music, mischief and a joyful festive stomp through the heart of Frome.
Ditch the sleigh bells and bring your sparkle: this reimagined Mrs Claus has swapped the apron for attitude and will lead revellers on a 60-minute musical trail packed with sing-alongs, dance stops, and juicy stories about pop royalty. Expect Christmas classics, disco bangers and a proper feel-good soundtrack—all pumped straight into your headset.
The guided walk kicks off outside the Cheese and Grain (though not affiliated with the venue) and winds through 1.5 miles of Frome's cobbled charm. Guests are urged to dress up, get stuck in, and bring comfy shoes—and maybe a festive tipple.
Tickets cost £17.50 plus booking fee via Eventbrite: Book here.
Headphones will be provided, and children aged 5+ are welcome — but must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Organisers say: "These tours are partly what you make them—so come ready to celebrate."
