Do you have an imaginary friend? A little piece of mischief only you can see? Do they like loud noises?

Do cheeky things at dinnertime? Pull funny faces? Make a mess and play make believe? Well they might get on well with Mr Whatsit.

On Friday 21st June PaddleBoat Theatre Company are set to storm into St Paul's Junior School, Shepton Mallet, with their award-winning production of Margot and Mr Whatsit.

Full of music, clowning and play, Margot and Mr Whatsit is guaranteed to keep children and adults entertained.

The show has toured UK theatres and festivals and won a Fringe Award at last year's Brighton Festival!

Formed by four students from Exeter, PaddleBoat are now one of the South West's most celebrated children's theatre companies with their hugely inventive productions and innovative story-lines.

Margot and Mr Whatsit tells the story of Sophia and her imaginary friend Mr Whatsit. Mr Whatsit is always there with a new joke to tell and a new game to play – he loves making Sophia laugh, that is, until the day Sophia un-imagines him…

Now there's a new imaginary friend in town – the tea-drinking, lipstick-wearing Margo. Can Mr Whatsit's childish playfulness keep him from being un-imagined forever? Will he re-appear and show Margo how it's done?

This performance is part of All the World's Our Playground a year-long theatre programme run by Bowlish Infant School and Make the Sunshine Community Interest Company with a partnership of five Shepton Mallet primary schools.

The show is free and open to all thanks to funding from Shepton Mallet Town Council and Arts Council National Lottery Funding.

No need to book. Join us at St Paul's Junior School on Friday 21st June. Doors open at 3:30pm. Show 3:45-4:45pm.
