The main road past Leigh-on-Mendip is partially blocked following a crash this morning (October 19).

Just after 8.45am, there were reports of a crash on Old Wells Road in the area of the junction with Green Lane.

According to satellite traffic cameras, the crash is causing delays in the area, with traffic backed up to the junction with Hollybush Lane heading towards Leigh-on-Mendip in one direction, and back to the junction with Somer's Hill in the Chantry direction.

It is not known at this time how long it will take to clear the incident, and motorists are being advised to find an alternative route.
