3 fire appliances from Yeovil, Shepton Mallet and Sherborne (Dorset and Wiltshire FRS), together with the aerial ladder platform from Yeovil, were initially mobilised to a lady who had half fallen through a garage roof.

Shortly after our crews from Yeovil and Sherborne arrived on scene, the lady was quickly located and rescued using personnel alone, no equipment needed. She was rescued without any injuries and did not require an ambulance either. Once crews were satisfied with the ladys safety and that of the scene, she was left in the care of her husband. The fire appliance from Shepton Mallet and Aerial from Yeovil were returned on route, as they were not required.
